How To Get Approved For Citibank Credit Card

We live in a country where people are just starting to realize the benefits of having a credit card. We’re not talking about simply just having a credit card so that you can quickly get approved in other applications like car loans or postpaid plans. Those are acceptable reasons, but one primary reason to get a credit card is SAVINGS!

People always relate credit cards with unwanted expenses and being in debt but what others don’t realize is the benefits it provides, such as:

Emergency Funds

It’s one way of having a fallback plan if you need to borrow money during emergency cases.

Savings

Many Bank offers credit cards with great rewards such as cash rebates and promotional offers like the 5,000 worth of Nike Park GCs that I got from Citibank. I only applied for a card and used it to pay for my groceries and bills and was rewarded with not just reward points but also gift certificates that I was able to use as a gift for my dad’s birthday.

Other Applications

Having a credit card is a way for other companies to know that you’re capable of making payments. This will be useful for future applications with Car loans, Postpaid plans, or even Mortgages.

Others like me even used to worry about annual membership fees but let’s face it. Who pays for membership fees? I usually just ask for those to be waived whenever I see it on my statement, which is easily taken care of whenever I call a bank’s customer service.
